MGM China Donates MOP 20 Million to fight outbreak

MGM China has announced a MOP 20 million donation, made in coordination with the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macau, to help Hubei province fight against the coronavirus outbreak.  The donation will be for the purchase of preventive and medical supplies, as well as urgent-needed materials and equipment.

Pansy Ho, Co-chairperson & Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, said: “We would like to express our gratitude for the tireless and selfless effort of the medical professionals, who have been protecting the lives of our people, especially the ones at the frontline of Hubei province. We would also like to express our sincere condolences to the families affected by the epidemic. 

The company said in a statement that it places a high priority on the health and safety of its employees, guests and all Macau residents.  As a responsible corporate citizen, MGM will continue to fight the epidemic by following the government’s direction and working together with the local community.
