Macau’s biggest gaming industry event, G2E Asia, has been postponed until July due to the coronavirus outbreak, the organizers said in a statement yesterday. It will now be held from July 28 to 30 at its usual venue, Cotai Expo, at the Venetian Macao casino resort.
“We have carefully monitored the global health crisis related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19),” the statement from G2E Asia said. “Our top priority is ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, partners, and exhibitors. In consultation with our exhibitors and the Macao government, and out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing G2E Asia 2020.”
